TD*X has installed a prototype Vacuum Thermal Desorption (VTD) unit at a permitted mixed waste treatment facility. This drum scale unit is a first of its kind, in High Performance TDU. A project profile is included below. This project was described at the Waste Management '04 Conference in Tuscon, AZ, and has progressed further since that time.
